So, after about a month of doing really well as far as diet and checking my blood sugar and all that, I had about a month of...not. I mean, I tried not to hop on the crazy train as far as diet goes, but I certainly wasn't watching what I ate or checking my blood sugar that often. I think I just got really frustrated when I realized my supplies wouldn't hold out. That combined with my general feeling of being ill-informed when I leave my doctor's office just led to a little bit of a shutdown.

But I'm picking myself back up now. I started with just sporadic, once a day testing, and I was getting some up-there numbers. The highest was 180, but there was one day where I woke up with a fasting blood sugar of 130. But today I saw my first 92 (two hours after lunch), and it was such a relief.

My next A1C is in about three weeks, and I'm hoping doing relatively well 2/3 of the time will be enough to bring that average down at least to 6.5, if not below it.

I sort of fell off adding all my stuff to this blog, but I've got some stuff on my myfitnesspal that I'll start adding in later today.
